Philosophy Statement

At Aspen Ranch, we believe that the combination of living in a therapeutic environment, attending an individually paced school designed for success, participating in individual and group therapy, and being involved in a life-changing equine program allows struggling students to experience success and rediscover a sense of mastery and self worth.

In all decisions and actions – including our interactions with students, family members, co-workers and professional colleagues – we are guided by our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Relationships, and Integrity

We are dedicated to ensuring that Aspen Ranch remains an environment where adolescents can develop, practice and improve healthy interdependence, social accountability, responsibility and self mastery through principle based decision making, value congruent behavior, and honest achievement in a traditional ranch setting.

Because the majority of our students return home after completing our residential program, we believe that restoring function to the family unit is a top priority, and we place significant value on our efforts to help parents play an active and positive role in their children’s healthy development.
